EOC week2

how fashion advertising changed since the mid-twentieth century? what are some of the differences between ads that appeared before the 1950s and those from the 1950's 1960s and today?
well in the 1950 the ads more of men rule the world and women have no rights.

well in the 1950's women have no rights at all.. so pretty much at this time women have no say in a ad.

in the 1960's ads our more softer than the 50's you seen more women and kids in the ads; and less down grade on females.

now days its a mix of people in ads. now the most of the ads are about sex. sex sells these days .

whats are some of theories related to fashion branding. what do they say about fashion branding as means of communicating with consumers. how do the contemporary ideas of hamiltion. that it is two different ways to fashion branding. like fragmentation, de-differentiation. for an example fragmentation is describes the separation of similar, mass-oriented groups and de-differentiation is the blurring of high and low cultures.

what type of meaning does grant mccracken associate with fashion products. i totally agree with grant that fashion marketing is one key to the creation and generation of future consumer consumption. also thats true how companies target there market by different subject of people.

exercise: trace the history of the fashion brand burberry.
it's a big change for burberry because in the days burberry was more focus on the army so that make most of there ads with mens on them with army gear. another reason burberry was know for the there water prof jackets. but now they ads got more colors and women and also cars. now its show the style of burberry not really the reason be hide it anymore.
